Dragon Heir #8 is done!

Today, whilst battling a nasty cold, I decided to spend my bank holiday finishing up the pages for the next issue of Dragon Heir. This is my personal project, done in my own time and sold through www.sweatdrop.com. I'm totally hyped about having a new issue ready. Just need to add some sparkles and extras to get it ready for print now! WEEEE! Nothing new to report in other news just yet. It's still a waiting game for the most part, but things are moving, so it's all good. I'll be in London this Saturday at the Crystal Palace Children's book festival, along with some other amazing illustrators...so if you're about, come and say hello!

Emma, this looks wonderful. I haven't read it before, but I'm really interested in picking it up. I noticed that there is a collected edition. Which issues are in that?

P.S. the link to www.sweatdrop.com just leads back to this blog posting :)

Awww, thanks for the interest, hon! The collection contains issues 1-6, and then 7 and the newly finished 8 come after. The disclaimer I give to anyone interested is to let you know that DH is a personal project created over several years...so you get the fun of seeing my really awful early beginnings in comicking, right up to my not-quite-so-awful-but-still-pretty-bad later stuff, hahah! But you get the story, and that's the important bit really - issue 8 is looking a lot more shiny XD

Well, I'll keep that in mind, but I'm sure there is nothing to be ashamed of. I'll keep an eye on the site for #8 to hit, so I can buy the whole bunch at once. Hopefully that should minimize my shipping costs to Canada :)

You're a star!
Issue 8 'should' be done in time for the May MCM Expo...so hopefully will be on-site by the end of May :)
