Beautiful as always, but I'm beginning to get lost in the twists and turns of this story.
Confusion with the factions, side-trips and now flashbacks to former misdeeds. And we still don't know what it is they're supposed to be doing, or if that's even possible....
If this is intentional, know that I welcome the clarity to follow when they take action !

It will all make sense, fear not. ^_^ I'd imagine it's a lot easier to read in book form, to be honest. I know following longer stories online can be tricky.
As the reader, we'll learn as Lyntra and our heirs learn, pretty much. Right now, all our guys know is that they need to see the spirit guide and find out how they can comlpete the ritual without their Spirit Binder....
They hadn't counted on this other force being in their way (though Lyntra seems to know more than he at first let on about the black dragon) but now Verance has stepped in and taken out their 'shield', so things are looking difficult for them.

I hope it all falls into place for you as the story goes on!
