You have a great eye for graphic quality. It stops just short of OpArt, but there's a suggestion.
The problem I think with this story is that on a weekly basis it isn't as readable as it might be with a printed version. The biggest reason I must tell you in all honesty is because all the characters seem to look exactly the same. I find myself continuously wondering which one this is and what he or she was doing and how this relates to the story. The Japanese do this sort of thing all the time and usually there is a definitive way the heroes are treated versus the bad guys. Some sort of caricature is used so that there is instant recognition of the character. You have much variation in the other background "bit-players", but I think that your belief that these Dragon-Heir are all people of a specific type keeps you from making them too different from each other. Unfortunately, this is what fails to provide the average reader with the information to be able to tell them apart easily, an important part of telling the story. Your use of the forehead markings gives me a clue, but there is too much sameness in these characters to be able to tell them apart. This is probably not the time to tell you this, since you're printing the story but something has been bugging me about it and I finally figured out what it is. You have many possibilities to explore in providing a solution. If you printed in color, for instance, each character could have his or her own subtle shade of some portion of the spectrum that might actually correspond with their qualities. The easiest way to tell the good guys from the bad guys is in the light/dark separation, although in my opinion it is hard to discount the effect of sinister beards or moustaches. I'm sorry to offer you a less than perfect report on your story, but if you expect to believe those who do nothing but praise your work then you aren't being objective enough.

Don't apologise, all feedback is appreciated and valid.

"but if you expect to believe those who do nothing but praise your work then you aren't being objective enough." <--haha, you're accusing before I even had a chance to resond there, dude! ^_~

Emma, this is a fine story, but it has as one of its qualities something that takes away from it.
I think you take great pride in your DragonHeir characters. This is understandable, since they are finely crafted and well drawn.
Its just that I felt that you needed to have that information, even if you might not like it.
I'm highly in favor of any and all great art.
