Me? i'll be working a little over Christmas, but intend to utterly slob out tomorrow for the big day. I have my copy of the Albert Finney Christmas Carol musical all ready to go, and a Christmas spotify playlist stored on the ol' iphone. Enjoy yourselves and I'll see you on the other side. *hug*

Monday, December 21, 2009 at 5:11PM Because it IS there, honest! I just don't get a chance to talk about it much these days, haha. Three little bits I wanted to share with you as they make me smile:
1. Hamlet just keeps going. Please welcome the chinese edition to the Manga Shakespeare family! He's a busy little Dane, isn't he? I love this edition as it looks so different to others. Lovely design!
2. Princesse Miya magazine is now on issue 3 over in France. With leading art from the wonderful Jessica Jung, it really is a pretty-looking magazine. And it has toys on the cover. Toys, I say! My contribution to this issue was another short story - this time about Princess Kitmina!
3. ImagineFX Magazine. You already know how awesome this mag is, right? You may or may not know that I'm on ImagineFX's panel of artists for the Q&A section - but I thought it worth a mention that the current issue (Dec - 52) features more Vieceli Q&A time than ever before as well as a fold out robot calender! Check it out if you can.

Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 5:58PM Hey! I want to share with you a clever little idea that the fabulous people at FULLFX studios have come up with, and which has now gone live! Weeeee!
I, and several other artists in a growing list, were asked to provide some images that would work in a sketchbook style artbook. Some of you may have seen the early copies that I was able to bring to comic shows this year ^_^
Some of the images I chose are illustrations you'll have seen prints of before, some are reproduced with special permission from publishers and would certainly not be available any other way (including in progress shots of Much Ado and my Phonogram back-up story) and some are brand new, never before seen! (if you go for a customisable option, there may also be one of my - erm - naughtier pictures in there, hahaha).
The clever bit is that you get to browse the full range of images available and then pick and choose a customised art book! You can do this for any of the artists in the CBSignature programme and I suspect the list will grow! To head to my own artbook page and have a browse or purchase, just click the animated gif above and whoooosh!
I think this is a very nifty little idea, and I'll be hoping to add to my available images as time goes on. If you have a hankering for any images of mine in print that haven't been so far...let me know and I'll do my best to get them added to the selection!
